Heavy Hater
Music & Lyrics by
Ghosts of Black River
[Verse]
Call out, me or my family,
Based on what you see,
Disrespecting ANYONE don't go down well with me,
Now we're on the same page,
Right back from the start,
Explain again,
How you know more about myself than me,
Or what you think you might know,
and all that you've been told,
So fade to obscurity
Back to where you came from
Where your opinion counts for dick all,
Cease to be.
Wasting time on all of this,
That's what gets me.
All fired up with nowhere to explode
[Chorus] x2
Fueling my rage with hate is so easy,
(Lucas)- When people like you get in my way,
Shake my head and walk away slowly
Why waste my time.
[Verse- Lucas]
Broken, drifting aimlessly,
Tearing at the seams,
Hanging by a thread of my sanity.
Now we're on the same page,
Where do I even start,
Explaining all the things that eat away inside of me,
When every road I roll on,
Leads to this same place
So go on, keep on pushing me
Back to where I belong,
Where opinions count for dick all, cease to be,
Wasting time on all of this,
That's what gets me.
[Solo]
[Chorus]
Fueling my rage with hate is so easy,
(Lucas) -When people like you get in my way,
Shake my head and walk away slowly
Why waste my time.

More Heavy Metal/Hard Rock from the guys who know how to do it right. Starts at 11 and just go up from there. This one reminds me of the Texas Hippy Coalition doing 70ies Heavy Metal with some Hair Rock lead breaks thrown in. Harry Harrison
I can’t believe I’m just now finding this band. I lucked into finding them by reading an old interview with The Skull members Eric Wagner, Ron Holzner, and Jeff Olson (All three formerly of Trouble, too). They’ve been broken up for almost a decade now. Such a shame; they should have and still should be HUGE! The vocalist has some amazing pipes! If you listen to the first song and don’t buy it, it’s quite possible you have zero taste when it comes to heavy music. Jason Gilbert

To me this is like 70ies Heavy Metal in nearly all aspects. I can understand the comparisons to Motörhead but to me they don’t really sound like them, except maybe for the Heavy Blue style lead breaks. What they do have is the drive, gravelly vocals and swagger of Motörhead. This they have that in buckets. Super fun Heavy Metal/Hard Rock that just doesn’t age. Harry Harrison
